The primal instinct to nourish and be nourished — caring for the tribe through sustenance, devotion, and attentive support. Its wisdom lies in recognizing that true generosity flows from a self-nourished source.
The shadow is sacrifice leading to resentment — over-giving until depleted, or using care as a covert contract to control those who receive it.
The hoarding of care and resources. Either giving too much from an empty well, or withholding nourishment to maintain control.
Genuine care flowing from a nourished source. You feed others because you are full, not because you need their gratitude.
The caretaker dissolves into the act of caring. No giver and no receiver — only the universal flow of nourishment sustaining all life.
