Shock
I Ching · Archetypal Polarity

The shadow is the addiction to crisis — manufacturing shock or instability to feel alive, avoiding the quiet integration that must follow awakenings.
Restless competitive energy needing to prove itself through shock and confrontation. The ego uses disruption as a defence against vulnerability.
