The 9th house governs your worldview — higher education, long-distance travel, philosophy, religion, and the search for meaning beyond your immediate experience. Where the 3rd house collects facts, the 9th house builds a cosmology. This is where you develop your personal philosophy, encounter foreign cultures that reshape your assumptions, and pursue the education that expands your consciousness rather than simply adding skills. Teachers, gurus, and published works can all be 9th house figures.
