This degree speaks of the careful preparation of a safe and comfortable environment for new life.
"Feathering the nest"
The instinct to prepare a home before offspring arrive is one of nature's most powerful drives. Game birds feathering their nests represent the universal urge to create security, comfort, and beauty in the space that will shelter the most vulnerable new lives.
Left unexamined, the compulsion to perform nesting instinct without genuine feeling — the careful preparation of a safe and comfortable environment for new life, but hollowed of meaning.
Getting a place ready for what you love is its own kind of devotion.
The mountain's discipline — a pressure for concentration and the power of absolute stillness. This gate teaches that staying put is itself a profound service, creating a centered anchor for everything around it.
