Transits

The question

What is the difference between your chart and today's sky?

Your natal chart never changes. The sky keeps moving. A transit is a planet in its current position making an angle to something in your birth chart — the conversation between then and now.

Two charts at once

Reading transits means holding both wheels together: the fixed one from your birth moment, and the live one from right now. Today's Mars crossing the degree of your natal Venus is a transit. Today's Mars on its own is just weather.

Speed sets the meaning

The Moon changes sign every two and a half days; Pluto takes over a decade to cross one. Fast transits color a mood or an afternoon. Slow ones mark chapters, and you usually only recognize them looking back.

Conditions, not events

A transit describes a climate rather than a headline. It says what kind of pressure or opening is available, not what you will do with it — which is the part that stays yours.

In the app

Your Today reading lays a live transit layer over your natal palette. The natal colors hold steady underneath while the transit layer shifts the composite from day to day.
